Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has stirred excitement among fans by teasing an upcoming project featuring Simmba stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. Announced on Wednesday, the project is generating speculation about its nature, with some suggesting it could be an advertisement.

Described as the “biggest love story of 2025,” the project promises to blend drama, action, and romance. The makers shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “Drama, action, romance – sab milega ek hi kahani mein! 2025 ka biggest blockbuster coming soon!”

Fans quickly took to the comments to speculate about the new venture. One user exclaimed, “Kurkure Ad it seems,” while another remarked, “This definitely isn’t Simmba 2.” Several fans also inquired about updates on Golmaal 5.

Rohit Shetty’s projects

Actor-comedian Siddharth Jadhav, who collaborated with Shetty on Cirkus, chimed in with fire emojis, and his Cirkus co-star Jacqueline Fernandez followed suit with similar reactions. Ranveer and Sara previously worked together in Shetty’s 2018 blockbuster Simmba, an action-comedy set in the Singham cop universe that grossed an impressive ₹400 crore worldwide.

Sara was last seen in Sky Force alongside Akshay Kumar and newcomer Veer Pahariya. She also has Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, a sequel to the 2007 film Life in a… Metro, is lined up next. Meanwhile, Ranveer recently appeared in Singham Again (2024), also directed by Rohit Shetty. He has a couple of more projects lined up including Don 3 and Rakshas.
